Hong Kong Eating Spree Part3: Desserts2 - Wo Kee
Written on 12:14 AM by Penang Tua Pui
This is another dessert house that offered a lot of sweet, yummy dessert guaranteed to make your taste buds tantalizing, yearning for more.
The shop has lots of bowls of desserts that were ready for consumption, stored nicely in the refrigerator.
It was almost like you-name-it-they-have-it desserts with a wide range to choose from. Of course, if you prefer hot ones, there are also many types available.
We ordered Honey Dew with Sago, tang yuen in ginger syrup and tau fu fah. Only the tang yuen is hot while the other one is cold dessert. The Honey Dew in Sago tasted good with few balls of honey dew. It was quite similar to the one we have here.
The tang yuen came with ginger syrup and each of them had black sesame filling inside. There was a strong ginger scent but the syrup was not really sweet. This is preferable as what we wanted was to drink the ginger syrup and not sugar syrup.
Meanwhile, the tau fu fah we had was cold and not hot like we normally have. It came with white sugar. The tau fu fah was very smooth yet it did not break easily when you tried to scoop the tau fu fah.
There was more that we wanted to try but our stomach had the limitations. If only Huat Koay and Fei Fei joined me in this eating spree, we would see definitely have more.
